History

IPEL is a Brazilian industry, 100% national capital. IPEL was founded in 1988, focusing the manufacture of biocides. Strategically installed in the city of Jarinu, where its production is sold through the major highways of the state, IPEL grew and in 1993 expanded its production capacity, innovating with the launch of services to the supply of aggregates biocides.

Thus came to offer complete solutions to microbiological control, not only to the paint market but for different segments such as cosmetics, leather, pulp and paper, household, metalworking and oil among others.

In 1997, another achievement, IPEL is certified by NBR ISO standard: 9002:94, ensuring the company credibility in the domestic market and opening the doors for Mercosur. In 1999 occurs the second expansion of the plant and laboratories, doubling its production capacity and upgrading the laboratories Technical, Application, Quality Control and Microbiology.
At the same time set up programs of services BioControle, SIADI, PROSSEG and SIDEC, adding the differential launched in 1993.

In 2000 IPEL amending the scope of the company and gaining certification to ISO 9001:94, covering the area of development. Again expand the production capacity to 1,200 tonnes per month, keeping high quality standards.

In 2001, IPEL start building the new plant, designed for the synthesis of active (Isothiazolinone). With capacity for 400 ton / year, the plant is designed to enable the manufacture of other types of assets and products.

In 2003 the new plant synthesis of molecules enter into operation, increasing the independence of the company on imported raw materials, the only plant in Latin America to synthesize this type of active ingredient.

IPEL in 2008 completed 20 years of growth and expansion, through the new administrative facilities and laboratories.

Today IPEL has international certification ISO 9001:2000 and our NBR SGQ works in an integrated way with the areas of health, safety and environment. Our certificate is available for printing by clicking license.

We participate in the international market through local distributors with stock in several countries of Latin America, Asia, Europe and the Middle East, with a subsidiary in Argentina and more recently in Spain.

Today, more than a broad product line, IPEL search offers its clients personalized services in the search of solutions in microbiological control (products and services).
